Measuring for your helm order

1. Start with a 12" square fo stiff cardboard. Measure a 10" wide gap on the bottom edge. Draw a "U" shape that is 10" wide at the open end.
2. Cut out the center of the U. What's left is your measuring frame.
3. Hold the measuring frame over your head with one end ar your brow and the other straight out behind you. Have someone measure the gap from your head to the end of the frame. Subtract that from 10, and the result is your measurement. For example, if there is a 1.5" gap between the back of my head and the end of the frame, 10-1.5=8.5 My head is 8.5" from brow to back.
4. Repeat the previous step for ear to ear.
5. Send me these measurements! I may ask for more.

Helms are not coming from the primary manufacturer ready for field use, but must be modified.

Currently, we are offering 6 styles of converted helms. These have stainless perforated plate covering your face, with some steel/brass/leather armor plates covering peripheral areas.

Each design meets Society and Midrealm minimums for a Rapier Helm. Each completely replaces your fencing mask.

These Helms are UNPADDED. You will have to add padding to customize the fit to your head.

These helms are MILD STEEL and will rust if not properly cared for. The interiors are painted, the exteriors are oiled. Maintain that finish.
